History

International Community School (Bangkok) grew from a small homeschooling co-operative to join the Network of Christian Schools (NICS) in 1992.  Eventually, ICS separated from NICS in favor of local board governance while maintaining the same vision for high-quality Christian education.  ICS has been accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) since 1998. 

In 2003, ICS Bangkok moved to its Bangna location in order to expand to accommodate the nearly 1100 students currently enrolled.  In 2015, the ICS Board responded to the need for quality international Christian education in the Northeast of Thailand and was excited to open the Udon Thani campus in 2020.  

Expected SCHOOLWIDE Learning Results

At ICS the Expected Schoolwide Learning Results (ESLR) are connected to 7 different areas for student learning. We want to prepare students for performing well in all areas of academic settings and do well in personal relationship building. We have seen and it has been proven how these ESLR's are helping us to build up a powerful curriculum that helps students get access to top universities and colleagues around the globe.
